According to the state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, the forensic audit report that revealed the alleged theft of N11.9 billion from the Kwara State Government account is a hoax because the audit firm, SSAC and Professional Services, is no longer in business.
The PDP claimed in a statement released on Saturday by its publicity secretary, Tunji Morohunfoye, that the Corporate Affairs Commission investigation the party conducted into the audit firm had discovered that the audit business the government had engaged to perform the work was inactive.
The audit business, SSAC Advisory and Professional Limited, allegedly recruited by the APC administration headed by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, was found to be an inactive or dormant firm, according to the findings of our legal inquiry conducted at the Corporate Affairs Commission.
