The much-anticipated match between Mancity and Man United is done and over with, as Manchester City thrashed Manchester United 6-3 in Sunday’s premier league game at Eithad.
The match saw Haaland and Phil Foden both bag an Hatrick. Haaland proved himself as an unstoppable Force, as he scored three goals in the match making it 17 goals in 10 games since he transferred from Borussia Dortmund.
This is really a sad one for Manchester United considering their newfound confidence after winning five matches out of six, but Manchester City frustrated their newly found confidence. Foden scored the first goal for City, after receiving a pass from Bernardo Silva putting City in the lead. Haaland made it 2-0 as he fired the ball into the goal with a header.
Haaland again then scored another goal after receiving a brilliant pass from Kevin de Bryne, and then set up Foden who then scored another goal before the end of the first half. Anthony, United’s new signing came to the Rescue for United as he scored a goal for United making it 4-1, But it seems it only geared City to do better, as Haaland again scored making it 5-1, and Haaland again set up Hoden who scored the sixth goal.
Anthony Martial bagged a brace of United which only reduced the shame of united, this is definitely not a good one for Erik Ten Hag.
