William Troost Ekong, super eagles player has recovered from a hamstring injury, and will definitely be in action for Watford in their championship game against Blackpool on Saturday, after missing their last two matches.

This was revealed by Slaven Bilic, Watford’s Manager, in a press conference ahead of the match.

Troost Ekong suffered a hamstring injury while on international duty for Nigeria, in their friendly test match against Algeria team A, due to his injury, he could not feature for Nigeria in their FIFA-sanctioned international friendly match against Algeria team B.

According to Bilic, Ekong was present at their training yesterday, he seemed fine and okay, so he’ll definitely be in action for them in tomorrow’s match, which is a relief to them, as several of their defenders are down on Injury.

Bilić said: “Ekong trained with us yesterday [Thursday, October 6] – he looks good, and he’s definitely going to be in the squad. That’s a big positive for us, particularly with our injury problems at the back.”

Watford has only registered one win in their last five matches, they currently rank 10th on the championship table.
