On Thursday, oil marketers issued a harsh warning to the public, telling them to expect to pay ‘any price’ for gasoline.
Marketers operating under the banner of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria said that the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited refused to supply its members with supplies, which they purchased from other parties for N205.
IPMAN’s National Controller Operations, Mike Osatuyi, told The PUNCH that members of the association had purchased merchandise for N205 and would add N13 for transportation.
They said that NNPC refuses to supply them with petrol and they buy from third parties and can sell at any price. As a result, the public should expect fuel at any price, depending on the location
