The Abuja-Kaduna railway test-running has fully begun, in light of the train services resuming fully, on Monday, November 28. This had been confirmed by the Federal government.

A 12-coach train had been sighted this morning at about 10.30 am passing through the residential areas onward to Kaduna.

Meanwhile, a representative for the Nigerian Railway Corporation, Mr. Yakub Mahmoud, revealed the information to Daily Trust newspapers, adding that the NRC will be releasing further details regarding the train operations on Sunday to the general public.

Remember that the Minister of Transportation, Mr. Mua’zu Jaji Sambo had previously, announced that the train service will resume this month.

The service had been suspended indefinitely after terrorists had kidnapped and killed train passengers in March this year.
