The hope of advancing from the group stages for Tunisia now hangs on a thin thread, as they concede to a 1-0 defeat from Australia in their second group game in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Mitchell Duke’s amazing header put Australia in the lead in the 23rd minute. This was the winning and only goal from Australia.
Tunisia tried their best to score, as Mohammed Drager fired a shot aimed at the goal, but was unfortunately blocked by Harry Soutar. At the start of the second half, Tunisia gained dominance in the game but still could not register any goal. They had so many chances but none could be converted into goals.
Their faith is to be decided in their final group D game with France on Wednesday at the Education City Stadium. They currently have just one point after two matches.
