The Nigeria Police Force has remarked that it has observed the spreading or circulation of reported/fake election results on social media and several news platforms, which is contrary to the policy and guidelines of INEC.
The NPF spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, revealed the information via a statement on Sunday, February 26.
“The NPF hereby warns those who are spreading these alleged mistakes alleged misinformation such mischievous acts and wait patiently for INEC’s official results, which are authentic and tenable.” Adejobi had said.
