Mr. Chisom (Surname not confirmed), the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Coordinator for Ahoada-West Local Council in Rivers State, was shot.
Chisom, the Ward 10 head of the APC in the region, was shot while attempting to prevent suspected hoodlums dressed in police camouflage from seizing voting materials earlier yesterday.
Sogbeye Eli, the spokesman for the Rivers APC 2023 Campaign Council, confirmed late yesterday night that the miscreants opened fire on him and shot him dead immediately.
