Interswitch has just declared that it had processed 1.2 billion transactions in March 2023. This, according to the firm, is the highest it has ever processed in a single month in Nigeria and had been attributed to the increase in transactions to the Federal Government’s naira redesign policy.
The firm had disclosed that it had to upscale its operations to handle the increase in transactions.
This means that there has been an increase in electronic transactions since the Federal Government’s redesign policy resulted in the scarcity of cash.
