Reno Omokri Reacts to UK Student Visa Ban
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Whatsapp

Reno Omokri has in a recent tweet, called out the Nigerian Government for having not responded to the United Kingdom’s discriminatory student visa policy against Nigerian students, more than 48 hours after it was announced.

In his tweet, Omokri had revealed that he would have immediately canceled the expatriate quota of every single British company doing business in Nigeria and establish an embargo on any future expatriate quota for Britons in retaliation for the visa restriction, if he were the president.

Reno tweet had come from the fact that the Nigerian President had responded by banning Twitter less than 24 hours when his tweet was deleted by Twitter admins in 2021.

Omokri had continued his advise to the federal government to take actions by recommending the alternatives to UK trading partners.

“The EU, US, India, China, and Brazil will gladly fill the gap. We have power. We can influence outcomes. Let us use our leverage. Of what use is the Commonwealth if we can be so shabbily treated? The government is delinquent in its responsibilities.”
