The Former Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Anayo Nnebe has reportedly died.
The lawmaker, who had been a member of the House of Representatives at the time of his death had died at the age of 61.
Although no official announcement of his death has been made by his family, a source reported that the former Speaker died at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching Hospital in Nnewi, after a short illness.
The source additionally revealed that there will be a meeting of members of his family before an official press release would be announced concerning his death.
The deceased former lawmaker was an indigene of Umuokpu in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
