The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs) are back, and it’s time to celebrate the best in African film and television! The ceremony will be held on May 11th, 2024, at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, Nigeria.

This year marks the 10th edition of the AMVCAs, recognizing outstanding achievements across various categories. Here’s a glimpse at some of the nominees:

Multichoice Talent Factory highlights the program’s rising stars:

Indigenous M-Net Original celebrates shows rooted in local languages and cultures:

  • The Passenger, Nana Akoto, Apo, Irora Iya, Love Transfusion (Kiapo Cha Damu)

Short Films offer a platform for condensed storytelling:

  • T’egbon T’aburo, Broken Mask, Eighteenth Year, Man and Masquerades, A Place Called Forward
  • Supporting Actor and Actress categories recognize the power of ensemble casts:
