The Chairman of the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, Jerry Agbaike, announced on Sunday that PDP candidates competed against various parties and emerged victorious in all contested local government areas. PDP candidates also dominated the councillorship elections, winning 499 out of the state’s electoral wards. The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) secured a win in one electoral ward in Oshimili North Local Government Area.
