Popular Nigerian female DJ and activist, DJ Switch has recently called out FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike and former leader of Niger Delta Militants, Asari Dokubo during the EndBadGovernance protest. These protests, which started on the 1st of August, 2024, are aimed primarily at drawing attention to Nigeria’s economic challenges and food insecurity.
Asari Dokubo threatened those who want to bring protests to his region saying that their agenda does not relate to his region. Nyesom Wike also stated that Abuja would not allow the protests to take place and tagged the protesters as potential vandals.
To this, DJ Switch came on the social media to urge Wike and Dokubo to come out and confront the protesters instead of prescribing threats. She pointed out that the best strategy was to feed them and not to cause hunger through application of force and coercion.
“The only thing that can stop HUNGER is FOOD! Not guns, teargas, or threats from fat globs like Asari Dokubo and chicken feed Wike! I wonder why they are hiding now. Come outside let them eat you raw,” she tweeted.
