Omoni Oboli has announced that her latest film, The Uprising: Wives on Strike 3, set for the release on October 18th, 2024 will be showing in cinemas. The second installment of the Wives on Strike started in 2016 and became popular due to the use of comedy mix with social themes.
In the story The Uprising, we meet a widow whose life is turned upside down when her only child is kidnapped. The movie gives the audience an uplifting story of love, friendship, loss and victory showcasing the strength of woman.
It is a movie produced under Dion Vision Films and is the first movie under the distribution company, Nile Entertainment. It is also partners with renowned firms such as UBA Group, GAC Motor, Interswitch Group Red TV and BOZ Diamonds.
Some of the cast members include Hilda Dokubo, Uche Jombo, Chioma Akpotha, Ufuoma McDermott and Bukunmi ‘Kiekie’ Adeaga-Ilori among others. With such a strong lineup, when it premieres in October, Wives on Strike 3 is set to be a show that people cannot afford to miss.
