The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has appointed a new Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Imo State. She is Sylvia Agu, a professor.
Agu replaced Prof. Francis Ezeonu, a professor of administration at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), whose contract had expired in July.
