Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has set up a viewing centre for the African Cup of Nations, —AFCON, final match in Awka, the state’s capital.
The final match which will take place on Sunday between Nigeria and the host nation, Cote d’Ivoire is slated to hod by 9:00pm (GMT +1).
A statement by the Governor’s Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, had said that the viewing centre was dubbed Solution Viewing Centre.

The statement added that it was the governor’s own initiative of supporting the Super Eagles, and also encouraging the state indigenes to come out to cheer the nation’s team during the match.
The statement added that free drinks and popcorn for viewers would be provided and that Ekwueme Square was selected as the location of the viewing centre because of its space.
The viewing centre will be announced open by 7:00 pm on Sunday, February 11.
