Nigerian Afrobeat sensation Wizkid has received seven nominations at the prestigious Africa Arts Entertainments Awards (AAEA). The AAEA recognizes and celebrates the achievements of music artists across the African continent, highlighting the best in African music talent.

Wizkid’s nominations span several major categories. He is in the running for AAEA Best Continental Male Artiste and AAEA Continental Artiste of the Year, showcasing his influence and popularity.

His acclaimed project ‘S2’ has earned him a nomination for Continental Album/EP of the Year, reflecting the impact of his recent work. Wizkid is also recognized for his outstanding collaborations and singles, with nominations in categories such as Best Continental Intl Feature for ‘Work Me Out,’ Best Continental Afro RnB Hit for ‘Money & Love,’ Best Continental Afro Rap Fusion Hit for ‘IDK,’ and another nomination for Best Continental Afro RnB Hit for ‘Ebelebe.’

The AAEA award ceremony is set to take place in Kenya on August 17, 2024, and it promises to be a grand event celebrating African musical excellence.
