The President of All Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA, Mike Dada has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of his wife, Modupe Temitope Dada, who died on Saturday at the age of 48 after a brief illness. Late Modupe died at Dutchess International Hospital, Lagos.
Modupe was lovingly referred to as Dupsy and “Mama Africa.” She was an admired individual in both the banking and entertainment industries. She had a warm appeal to people who knew her well on both personal and professional levels due to pride for her family and African causes.
Her demise has finally brought great impacts on the Dada family and the African Entertainment Community, who now rally round Mike Dada in solidarity through these trying times. Modupe’s legacy of love and compassion is one her family and friends will hold dear, as her passing clogs up a deep vacuum.
