There has been a national Crisis in Sudan, as two rival military factions are fighting, this is no small feud as 420 People have been killed, and countries are sending in flights to pick up their citizens from this troubled country, there has been no action from Nigeria FG to evacuate Nigerians stranded in the country, over 400 Nigerian students are in Sudan, the FG has said that need some sort of assurance by the FG of Sudan before they evacuate Nigerian citizens from the country.

Allen Onyema the CEO of Air Peace has revealed that his airline is ready to evacuate Nigerians stranded in Sudan for Free.

He revealed this in a statement on Monday, 24th of April where he promised that his airline is ready to evacuate Nigerian citizens if the Federal Government can get to a safe and secure airport in any of the neighboring countries, he further said that he’s a patriotic Nigerian and he would not allow Nigerian citizens to die in Sudan.

“Again, Air Peace is willing to evacuate Nigerians stranded in Sudan free of charge if the government can get them to a safe and secure airport in any of the neighboring countries bordering Sudan. Everything must not be left to the government and the government alone.

“We are very ready to do it immediately. No time wasting. We any action that would promote national pride, national cohesion, peace, and unity, and we are for it.

Well, Federal Government are not silent about the issue, as plans have already been made to evacuate 5,500 Nigerians in Sudan via road, due to the attacks on flight in the country.

This isn’t the first time, Air Peace is doing this, if we can recall, in 2019, during the Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa, Air Peace offered a free flight to Nigerians willing to come home, free of charge.
