It has been reported that Al-Hilal have Initiated a last minute move to stop Lionel Messi from heading to Inter Miami Football club. The Saudi club have raised their offer to the Argentine to a gargantuan sum of $1.6 billion that will by far make Lionel Messi the highest paid sports personality.
This is according to COPE journalist Helena Condis.
It was reported on Tuesday by Argentine radio personality Hernan Castillo that Messi had opted to head to Inter Miami after ending the season with PSG.
Even Fabrizio Romano, confirmed the move on Wednesday afternoon.
Messi himself was expected to announce the move same Wednesday.
Now, in a new twist, Al-Hilal have attempted to pull a final stunt and see the former PSG star move to Saudi Arabia instead.
This is a monstrous offer – but will Messi accept it.
Well, i don’t know about Messi – but it will be difficult not to accept.
