The Anambra State Government have officially flagged off the commissioning the 5.2 kilometers Dual Carriage Anambra International Passenger/Cargo Airport Road.This was Carried out by the Governor of Anambra state, Willie Obiano, Today being the 24th February 2021, at the road entrance leading by Enugu/Onitsha Expressway.The Governor was in full attendance with His wife Dr Ebelechukwu Obiano.
Following the recent upgrade of the Airport to international standards, the commissioning covers the completion of Furnitures on the road, two bridges, Drainage systems, four box culverts, pedestrian paths on both sides, street lights, as well as beautiful road markings. The road has a minimum of thirty years life span.
The event had in presence, members of the state executive council, Transition Committee, Traditional rulers and Titled men, Chairmen, political delegates and appointees amongst others.
