Chukwuma Soludo, the current governor of Anambra State, has restrained teachers who got marks lower than 50% in the recent computer Based Test (CBT) held in the state. The test was conducted by the state to recruit teachers into the school system and about thirty-one thousand teachers out of about forty thousand registered teachers had taken the CBT held on Saturday, 12th of June, 2022.
Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, the state Commissioner for Education, said in a statement released on Wednesday that the Governor had confirmed the selected cut-off mark for the recruitment program to be fifty percent.
The state needs to employ five thousand teachers in the school system and has set the cut-off mark for the test to be fifty percent. Multiple registrations would be disqualified and another qualifying test would be conducted on Saturday, 18th of June, 2022, for those who had passed the first test held.
“Candidates will only be checked into the examination hall on showing their identification cards, National Identification Cards and Voters Cards.”
