The Presidential Campaign Council of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC has discontinued its activities.
The council, which had been set up in September last year, had been chaired by the Plateau State governor, Simon Bako Lalong, as the director general, while James Faleke was the Secretary.
According to Bashir Ahmad, the Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Digital Communications via a tweet on Sunday, April 23, the dissolution had been contained in a statement jointly signed by the DG of the Council, Gov Simon Lalong, and the Secretary, James Faleke.
The party on behalf of the chairman of the Presidential Campaign Council, President Muhammadu Buhari; the president-elect, Bola Tinubu and the other leaders, had appreciated all council members, leaders, and their supporters for working tirelessly to ensure the resounding victory of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
