The Rivers State Police Command has remarked that it has acted on a tip-off to arrest three lawyers contracted by the All Progressives Congress to fight the outcome of the March 18 governorship election at the tribunal.
According to the police command, it had also arrested five APC support staff collaborating with the arrested legal team. All of the suspects had been arrested on Saturday, April 1.
The spokesperson for the command, Grace Iringe-Koko had made the confirmation to newsmen on Sunday morning, April 2 via a statement.
