Arsenal FC boosted their Premier League title hopes by beating Tottenham Hotspur FC 4-1 in the North London Derby, making it five wins in a row against their rivals.
The Gunners had the ball a lot early on but ran into trouble at first, as Radu Drăgușin stopped both Viktor Gyökeres and Leandro Trossard from scoring. After a short pause because of some communication problems between the officials, Arsenal scored the first goal just after the 30-minute mark. Bukayo Saka pushed ahead and passed to Eberechi Eze, who was the fastest to shoot and score.

Spurs quickly bounced back right after the restart when Randal Kolo Muani took advantage of a mistake by Declan Rice to score and even things up. Arsenal took back control early in the second half, with Gyökeres making a strong impact just 90 seconds after the restart, and Eze scored his second goal of the game to put the visitors clearly in control.
David Raya made an important late save to stop Richarlison, then Gyökeres calmly finished to secure the win. Arsenal’s win puts them five points ahead of Manchester City, though they have played one more game.
Meanwhile, Tottenham have lost three league matches in a row and are now just above the relegation zone.
