In the latest Carabao Cup draw, some very interesting fixtures have emerged from this, As Arsenal will be heading out to play Fleetwood Town, while Premier League giants Liverpool will host Chelsea.
All that remains now is for these 16 teams to fight it out for spots in the quarter-finals which will happen during the week of October 26.
Having finished runners up last year, Arsenal had little trouble winning through into the next stage, doing so comfortably against Ipswich Town 4-2.
The Reds had to go through their own version of the gauntlet with a win over Tottenham Hotspur, but came out victorious as they defeated the north London side 3-1 to set up another encounter against Chelsea – this time at Anfield – in what’s sure to be a mouth-watering encounter for Liverpool fans.

And defending champions Manchester City take on Brighton should they beat Norwich City on Thursday night, which would make them face each other again.
Meanwhile, there are some familiar faces among the draw, including an Everton vs Newcastle match-up, as well as a Sunderland vs Brentford clash. There will even be more football magic when Fulham lock horns with Crystal Palace, while Bournemouth play Aston Villa in the Premier League’s third round of action.
Remaining fixtures include Bradford City vs Peterborough United.
The Seagulls’ trip to Old Trafford saw them make an unlikely comeback against Manchester United as they defeated them 3-2 in a thrilling encounter for a fourth-round spot.
Another difficult part of the season looms large with the fourth-round fixture list adding yet more challenges for teams participating in European competitions such as the Premier League, Champions League, Europa League & Conference League.
After that comes the draw for the quarter-finals, which will be made after the matches of the fourth round are concluded.
