Arsenal put on a show of dominance as they defeated Nottingham Forest 3-0, extending their unbeaten run in the Premier League at home to nine matches. The Gunners underlined their class to snap out of a four-game winless streak and kept their top-four push alive.

Having dominated from the outset, the visitors saw an early goal from Jurrien Timber chalked off for offside. They did not have to wait much longer, as Bukayo Saka gave them the lead in the 15th minute.

He linked up with Martin Ødegaard before unleashing a powerful drive that gave Forest goalkeeper Matz Sels no chance. The Gunners continued to dominate the tie without creating many clear-cut opportunities, as Sels kept Forest in the tie with two crucial saves, one each from Leandro Trossard and Saka.

Thomas Partey, who came on at halftime, doubled Arsenal’s lead in the 52nd minute with a sumptuous curling effort as Saka again provided the assist. Forest’s hopes of a response were flat, with sub Chris Wood inadvertently blocking a goal-bound shot from Jota Silva.

Arsenal sealed the win late on through 17-year-old Ethan Nwaneri, netting his first Premier League goal to add gloss to what has been a dominant display. The win keeps Arsenal fourth- six points off the top, while Forest remain in contention for European qualification despite the setback.
