Nigerian music star Asake has unveiled May 1 as the official release date for his forthcoming album, M$NEY.
The singer shared the update via his social media platforms, posting a teaser that hinted at the project’s artwork. The video captured the sculpting of his likeness in marble by Iraqi-Dutch artist Athar Jabar, adding an artistic edge to the announcement.
Accompanied by the caption “M$NEY MAY 1 #MM,” the reveal quickly stirred excitement among fans awaiting his next body of work.

The album is set to feature songs already released, including ‘Why Love,’ ‘Badman Gangster,’ and ‘Worship,’ which features international DJ DJ Snake.
This project will be Asake’s fourth studio album within a five-year span, following his collaborative EP Real Vol 1 with Wizkid earlier in 2026.
Since breaking into the mainstream with ‘Lady’ in 2020, the singer has consistently delivered chart-topping projects, including Mr Money With The Vibes (2022), Work of Art (2023), and Lungu Boy (2024).
Asake remains one of Afrobeats’ most prominent voices, earning several accolades and international recognition. He also secured a nomination at the last Grammy Awards for Best African Music Performance, although the award went to Tems.
