Sometimes police officers are Victims too, there have been several instances where a Police officer in discharging his duty is assaulted by citizens. The Spokesperson for the Delta State Police Command, Edafe Bright, has brought citizens’ attention to a video circulating online.
In the video, Seun Kuti a singer, and the son of late legendary Afro beats singer, Fela Kuti was seen assaulting a police officer, no one knows what transpired, but he acted violently by pushing and slapping a police officer.
According to Bright, Police are human beings too they have rights and cannot be treated anyhow, he also said that Seun Kuti will regret his actions
“Times have changed, and I am certain he will regret his actions, but it will be too late. Policemen are humans and have rights too.”
