BBNaija star Alex Unusual makes a social media comeback after a month-long break, while AY Makun addresses rumors about their alleged romantic involvement.

The reality TV star shared a brief video on her Instagram, showcasing various negative comments she received from social media users. The details of the video shows Alex on her bed at 11:38, deleting her social media accounts: Instagram, TikTok and X (Twitter). She’s in a serene environment with flowers and chirping birds, blur comments of her are seen appearing in the video followed by sounds of people talking about her as regards the issue. Very negative comments and sounds with few positives. She shares her own thoughts while writing- how all these degrading and hurtful messages are “Cyberbullying”.
According to section 24 of the 2015 Cyberact Crime, the act addresses cyberstalking and broadly criminalizes certain online behaviors, including sending messages that are deemed “grossly offensive,” “indecent,” “obscene,” or of a “menacing character.” It also penalizes communications intended to cause “annoyance,” “inconvenience,” “danger,” “obstruction,” “insult,” “injury,” “hatred,” “ill will,” or “needless anxiety” to another person. The person/persons are liable to a fine of 7 million naira or three years imprisonment or to both fine and prison. She ends with “I am Alex Unusual, and you can never make me walk in shadows that are not mine. Never!”.

AY Makun took to the comment section saying, “Above all. Please don’t do anything to my baby that you are carrying. We must entertain all the jobless people on social media.”
Other celebrities like Enioluwa, Nancy isime, Chioma, Ugoccie, Donjazzy, Angel, Doyin, and others added their encouraging comments.
All of these wahala started with AY and his estranged wife Mabel having issues in their matrimonial home and people accusing Alex of being the cause of it.
Reports also claimed the wife had moved out of their house due to AY’s infidelity. It was around this time that the rumors of Alex’s expectancy came into light, and following the negative comments, she then left social media. But she’s back and has faced her bullies head-on.
