Bandits Kills 10 in Zamfara in Fresh Attack

10 persons were killed in a fresh attack by Bandits in Sakiddar, Magaji and Sankoba Communities of Maradun Local Government Area in Zamfara. This information was confirmed by some sources on Sunday morning.

The Governor, Dauda Lawal, in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on media and publicity, Mustapha Jafaru, Condemned the act, as according to him, the attack was perpetrated at the time when the government were trying to come up with ways, to once and for all end the security issues in the state.

He assured residents, that a directive has been sent to all Heads of  Security Agencies in the state, to dispatch more security personnel to the communities that were affected by the attack, inorder to prevent such act from reoccurring.

“The unfortunate incident came at a time when his government is working hard toward strategizing on how to bring an end to the protracted security problem in the State

“A directive has been issued to the Heads of security Agencies in the state to as a matter of urgency deploy more security personnel to the affected communities to forestall further destruction of lives and properties in the area.”It has also been confirmed, that the troops deployed to the area, were able to chase the bandits out of the communities and also recovered two AK 47 Rifles, alongsides some ammunitions and rustled cattles.
