Popular Nigerian R&B sensation, Bankole Wellington, aka Banky W, has relocated to the United States with his family for further studies. An emotional Instagram post by the singer confirmed this, adding that he will start a Master’s degree in Policy Management at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
In the post, Banky W shared a photo of himself and wife, actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington, and their child at the airport.
He called on his fans to wish them well as they embark on this new chapter. He wrote, “For family. For finding purpose. For the next year of earning a Master’s degree in Policy Management at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.”
His wife, Adesua, showed support in the comments and wrote, “Home is wherever you are.”
Fans and colleagues have flooded the post with well-wishes as the couple begins their journey in the U.S.
