Obama has dropped his summer 2024 playlist that he loves, thus maintaining the tradition of revealing his favourite songs. Of the artists included this year, there are two Nigerians: Tems and Rema.
From Tems, the song “Love Me Jeje” from the album Born in the Wild. This is the third time her song has made the cut on Obama’s list, after 2022 and 2023.
Other tracks that also recently made it to the final list include Rema’s “Yayo,” from his album HEIS. Rema was recently on Obama’s 2019 summer playlist with his track ‘Iron Man’.
Other artists whose songs are on the playlist are Beyoncé, Tyla and Bad Bunny, a testament of Obama’s diverse taste in music.
