Barcelona are believed to have already tabled a €30m bid to Borussia Dortmund for striker Karim Adeyemi and reached personal terms with the player as manager Hansi Flick looks to reinforce his attack.
Barca made their intentions to sign the German international public in recent weeks as Flick, who gave Adeyemi his Germany senior debut at Red Bull Salzburg in 2021, continues to push for his transfer from the Bundesliga.
Flick handed the 23-year-old his international bow when he played for Austrian club RB Salzburg, and lauded his pace, finishing and dribbling ability when discussing the transfer target earlier this week.
The Catalan club has already made a €30m opening bid to Borussia Dortmund for the attacker’s signature, according to Mundo Deportivo, while they have also managed to secure personal terms for Adeyemi – now just waiting to negotiate a transfer fee.

Adeyemi scored on his senior international debut for Germany against Armenia, a testament to his development under Flick – though his club career at Borussia Dortmund has experienced inconsistency in recent seasons.
Barca boss Flick views Adeyemi as an exciting, pacey attacker who can run beyond defenses, and he would certainly add a different dimension to their attack. He is said to be one of the Catalans’ principal targets ahead of the new season.
