Spanish giants, Barcelona retains their second position at the La Liga table after they thrashed Samuel Chukwueze’s side Villarreal 3-0.
Robert Lewandowski scored the first goal in the 31st minute, putting Barca in the lead, at the 35th minute he doubled Barcelona’s lead, and Ansu Fati cemented Barca’s win as he netted the third goal.
Samuel Chukwueze did not feature fur Villarreal in Thursday’s match.
Real Madrid still rules the La Liga table with 28 points while Barca sits second on the table, with 25 points. Villarreal occupies the ninth position with 15 points
