Reports have it that 25 persons have died, from a car accident in Udobo Village, in Gamawa LGA of Bauchi State.

Mr. Yusuf Abdullahi, the commander of FRSC in Bauchi State told news respondents that 25 Persons died and 10 persons sustained varying degrees of Injuries.

“Twenty-five of them – nine adult male, 11 adult females, two male children, and three female children – lost their lives on the spot.

“Ten others sustained serious injuries and they are all male adults,’’ he said.

According to him the cause of the accident is due to the speeding of the driver who drove the Toyota Hummer Bus, he lost control of the vehicle when one tire burst.

The dead persons have be taken to Hadeja in Jigawa for burial, while those who sustained various injuries were immediately taken to Federal Medical Centre Azare in Katagum, LGA of the state.

It’s important for drivers to always obey traffic rules and regulations as most of these disobedient drivers end up wasting lives. Nigeria is one country where no respect is paid to traffic rules and regulations.
