Big Brother Naija Season 9 housemate Chinwe accused fellow contestant, Nelly of stealing her 24 karat gold jewelry which created drama in the house.
The fight started when Sooj, took the jewellery back to Chinwe on Tuesday evening. He said he stumbled on it in Nelly’s laundry bag which prompted Chinwe to ask how it got to be there. Chinwe in anger called Nelly a ‘thief, Anini and an armed robber’.
In response, Nelly dismissed the allegations during a talk with fellow housemate Kassia on Wednesday morning. She said that she was not aware of how the jewelry landed in the laundry bag and stated being annoyed at having been referred to as an armed robber. Nelly said she would have acted more severely but her boyfriend advised her to speak to Chinwe one on one.
As much as the cameras did not capture the entire altercation, they captured the moment Nelly apologized to Chinwe. But it was still unclear if the apology whether it had something to do with the “stolen” jewelry or some other incident.
The drama goes on and viewers are left wondering what exactly transpired between the two housemates.
