Thelma Lawson has claimed the interim Head of House (HoH) title for the second week of Big Brother Naija Season 10, following a gripping contest on Sunday night.
After the live eviction show, Big Brother instructed housemates to gather in the arena for the weekly HoH games. This week’s challenge had contestants split by gender, each group racing to fill bottles with water in the shortest time.
Thelma led the female round, while Jason Jae emerged as the top performer among the men. Both then moved on to a final stage, where they had to balance eggs on a deck using a spoon—a challenge that tested their coordination and focus. Thelma edged out Jason with a more stable performance, earning her the interim HoH position.
As part of her perks, she chose Kayikunmi to join her in the Head of House lounge for the week.
However, her leadership is not fully secured. Under the new rules introduced this season, Thelma will face a fresh challenger round on Monday. If another housemate manages to outperform her in the task, she could lose her HoH status.
Big Brother Naija Season 10 premiered on July 28 with a two-part launch and features the show’s highest-ever cash prize—₦150 million for the eventual winner.
The house has already seen its share of drama, including a heated clash between Kayikunmi and Isabella during the after-party hours on Saturday, sparking reactions across social media.
