Popular Nollywood actress Biola Bayo, has given an update that is laced with emotions regarding her ailing colleague, Bisola Badmus, whose story went viral a few weeks ago due to her terminal illness. Badmus had been battling an undisclosed ailment which was described as terminal, thus, her case reached many people after going public.

Bayo added that Badmus’s son, Malik, has been granted a scholarship covering the boy’s entire secondary school education. In addition, a generous patron has come forward to pay Malik’s university tuition when he gains admission.

More encouragingly, Badmus has received a full bankrolling from a sponsor abroad for her brain surgery, she is now at liberty to choose which hospital to have the procedure. Bayo expressed huge gratitude to all persons concerned with Badmus’ welfare, noting that an official announcement would be forthcoming later in the day.

This is coming after Nollywood actor Kunle Afod was able to raise N1.3 million in support of Badmus in her period of need, an indication that the spirit of good fate and solidarity is not dead in Nollywood.
