In a shocking turn of events, the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), arrested controversial celebrity, Bobrisky, at the Seme border on Monday night. The self-acclaimed “Snapchat Queen” reportedly attempted to flee the country under cloudy circumstances before being nabbed by border security.
The next morning, Bobrisky started complaining of ‘breast’ pain and was whisked away, under heavy police escort, to the Falomo Police Hospital, Lagos. Eyewitnesses at the hospital said the socialite, dressed in a black gown and covering her face with a shawl, was driven into the hospital in an ambulance, fuelling further speculation over the nature of her ailment.
Sources close to the development said that Bobrisky was still in custody as detectives from the Force Criminal Investigation Department, FCID, sustained interrogation into his reasons for attempted exit from Nigeria. The FCID is expected to approach the court for a remand order to keep Bobrisky in custody as investigations unfold.
The arrest was confirmed by the NIS spokesperson, Kenneth Udo, who referred to Bobrisky as “a person of interest,” thereby raising suspicion that maybe this arrest is related to border security operations or deeper and unuttered issues.
