Austin Jay Jay Okocha, former super eagles and Paris Saint Germain player has foretold that it is very likely that Borrusia Dortmund will contest the Bundesliga title from Bayern Munich. Although, most people predicted that Bayern will retain its title as Bundesliga champions, considering the team’s strength and players. Players like Sadio Mane have vowed to see Bayern retain its Bundesliga championship.

Okocha believes that other clubs will cause a struggle this season. According to Okocha he expects other clubs to be competitive this season because it’s no fun having Bayern win the title every time, the game of football is all about competition. He believes Dortmund has what it takes to contest the title out of Bayern’s hands.

“Speaking on the team to win the Bundesliga title, Okocha added, “I hope other clubs can compete a bit more this season because it is getting a bit boring having Bayern’s name written on the title every season.

“Hopefully, Dortmund will have the belief that they can challenge Bayern, but other teams are not sleeping. They will fancy their chances of causing an upset this season, so I hope we will see more title competition this season”.

Augustine Azuka Okocha, Popularly known as Jay Jay Okocha is a former Nigerian player who played as an attacking midfielder. He is regarded as the greatest player to come out of Africa.
