The International Court of Justice has just ordered Israel to put every measure within its power in place, to prevent acts of genocide in Gaza.
This ruling is coming after South Africa requested an emergency measure from the World Court.

While the reading is ongoing, and the judges are yet to rule on the merits of the South African genocide claims– which may take years to decide on– the court has declared that Israel must absolutely make sure that its forces do not commit genocide and to additionally take measures to improve the humanitarian situation.
Also, Israel must report to the court within a month to elaborate on what it’s doing to uphold the order.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s military campaign has slain at least 26,083 people and wounded 64,487 others, according to official sources in Gaza. As of now, thousands more people are still reported missing under the rubble, most of whom are being presumed to be dead.
