After a six-month renovation, British Airways’ recently refurbished lounge at Lagos airport has reopened.

British Airways announced this in a statement on Friday.

The airline claims that the area has been creatively planned to offer patrons additional room to enjoy an improved food and beverage experience. Customers can work, dine, or unwind in this opulent area.

It said that the 360 square meter renovated area has zones catered to different client demands and is intended to offer an improved dining, lounging, and working experience.

Customers could also pull up a chair at a freshly designed bar, where a bartender would provide drinks such as cocktails, wine, and soft drinks, the airline said.

What they’re saying

“Customers will be moved into a modern lounge that seamlessly blends style and comfort through the grand entrance that has floor to ceiling glass. British Airways has made substantial investments in this area to guarantee that it satisfies the highest requirements for passengers.

“There’s a self-serve dining room with a menu of freshly produced dishes for people who want to eat before the nighttime trip to London. A variety of Nigerian classics and British-inspired dishes are available on the food and drink menu, which is subject to frequent changes.

“First Class passengers will also receive canapes and champagne.

Final word

“We’re focused on investing in the entire customer journey, not just on board,” said Calum Laming, Chief Customer Officer of British Airways.

Lounges play a significant role in the experiences of many of our patrons, and our global lounge transformation plan includes the redesign of our Lagos lounge.
