According to President Buhari, state governments will have to take adequate steps on the reports of their panels, before the federal government can act on the recommendations.
Issued by the spokesperson to the presidency, Buhari said; “So many state governments are involved, and have given different terms of reference to the probe panels.
“We at the federal have to wait for the steps taken by the states, and we have to allow the system to work. We can’t impose ideas on them. Federal government has to wait for the reaction of the states.”
He also reiterated that his government remains committed to freedom of worship, adding that “No one is discriminated against on the basis of his or her faith.”
The president also thanked the United States for the sale of military weapons to Nigeria to combat insecurity.
Typical – This is just typical of this president. He never answers questions correctly – even if the question asked is as simple as one + one. An administration that cannot address simple issues is useless no matter how anyone tried to spin it.
And since when does this federal government stop getting its hand soiled with matters concerning states ehn?
Now that the entire world has heard the damning report of the #EndSARS panel, suddenly the federal government does not impose ideas on states.
