Burna Boy’s Five – Year Celebration on YouTube

Burna Boy is set to perform at an exclusive YouTube Music Nights event on July 26, 2024, which will be broadcast live on YouTube in honor of the 5th anniversary of the ‘African Giant’ album release by the artiste.

This unique show will see Burna Boy, and any other superstar artists planned by YouTube for the event, take the stage and reveal the true essence of music and the bond between artists and fans. His first album with Columbia Records, African Giant, helped him further establish himself on the international stage and even nominated for a Grammy Award for Best World Music.

The Album features the tracks ‘On The Low’ ‘Gbona’, ‘Dangote,’ ‘Killing Dem’ featuring Zlatan, and ‘Anybody’.
Burna Boy expressed his joy by saying that the celebration of the 5th anniversary of ‘’African Giant ”through a grand performance in London, backed by youtube music has been memorable. He underlined the fact that this album has a particular sentimental value because it is symbolic of a turning point in his career and a clear declaration of theAfro-Pride.

The Head of Music at YouTube in Africa, Addy Awofisayo, stated that they would be very glad to sponsor the event of the anniversary of the album that superimposed the industry and paved way for a brand new decade of great music.
