According to court documents released Friday, Ten women have come forward with sexual assault accusations against Canadian auto parts magnate, Frank Stronach,
The 91-year-old has been apprehended twice in recent weeks and charged with 13 criminal counts which included but were not limited to, attempted rape, sexual assault, indecent assault and forcible confinement
On both times where he was arrested, he was released the same day with bail conditions ahead of a first court appearance slated for July 8.
The court documents have revealed the allegations of attempted rape and assault which went as far back as June 1977 in Toronto.
The other victims are accusing him of rape and sexual assaults occurring in 1980, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1990 and 1999 in Toronto, and from 1999 to 2003 in Aurora, Ontario the headquarters of his previous company, Magna International.
The most recent sexual assaults are reported to have taken place in April 2023 in Aurora, north of Toronto, and February this year in the nearby hamlet of Gormley.
Three women had come forward originally with accusations. This was quickly followed by seven more women after police officials announced the first round of charges in early June.
Stronach, who spoke through his lawyer, Brian Greenspan, has denied the accusations, saying that he “will vigorously defend” himself against the untested accusations in court.
Frank Stronach is an Austrian-born rags-to-riches immigrant who grew a small Canadian tool and die company into one of the world’s largest automotive parts manufacturers, Magna International.
