Celine Dion has revealed a disturbing fact about her health, she has had Stiff Person Syndrome for 17 years.

In an interview with Hoda Kotb on the Today Show.

The Canadian singer revealed her hidden fight with the rare neurological condition.

She admitted that she started feeling symptoms in 2008 but did not announce her diagnosis until 2022.

She confessed that she was covertly battling the illness while managing her late husband Rene Angelil’s cancer treatment and raising their children. She explained that she felt compelled to speak out about her sickness because hiding it from her followers and loved ones had become a terrible weight.

Celine Dion is determined to keep performing, pledging to return to the stage even if she has to “crawl” or use her hands to speak.
