Three Ugandan children perished after a lorry slammed into their classroom at a school near Kampala, the country’s capital.
At least 18 additional students were injured in the incident on Tuesday afternoon at Kasaka Secondary School.
The lorry drove nearly halfway into the structure, tearing up a section of the roof.
According to Uganda police, the lorry driver lost control and crashed over the school gate before colliding with a student-occupied computer laboratory.
The driver, a 26-year-old guy, has been arrested to help with investigations, police said.
The school is in the core district of Gomba, some 130 kilometers (80 miles) from Kampala.
Learning has been halted for a week, and kids have been sent home.
