The Chinese embassy in Britain had in a statement on Sunday, May 21, cautioned London to desist from slandering and smearing the name and image of China to avoid further harm to the already strained China-UK relations.
This warning is coming after British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak made a statement saying that China was a representative of the world’s greatest challenge to security and prosperity but regardless of that fact, other top economies should not dissociate from the country after the Group of Seven (G7) nations conclude their summit.
Meanwhile, the Chinese embassy statement had said to disregard the words of those simply parroting facts from malicious slanderers.
